JAM On The Marsh returns 8-12 July 2026

JAM On The Marsh returns to Romney Marsh 8 - 12 July 2026. Tickets are on sale now!

A magical way to experience the historic churches of Romney Marsh, events this year take place at St. Dunstan's Snargate, St. Nicholas' New Romney, St. Clement's Old Romney, as well as our neighbours St. Leonard's Hythe, New Romney Old School and The Assembly Rooms.

Always a highlight of the local annual calendar, this year returns to the music of France and the influence of jazz on classical music with the second and final programme from Festival Curator Edward Armitage BEM.

Old friends return: Changeling Theatre, pianists Thomas Kelly and John Frederick Hudson, and the hand-picked supergroup that is JAM Sinfonia. Many take to a JAM stage for the first time: Alexander Armstrong with Claire Booth and pianist Andrew Matthews-Owen, Black Dyke Band, pianist Cyril Ibrahim and violinist Fenella Humphreys.

The Roaring Twenties sits alongside Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, Debussy's La Mer and Ravel's Piano Concerto in G.

It is shaping up to be a truly marvellous festival. There is much to look forward to.

If you are visiting the Romney Marsh churches during the festival, please consider becoming a member of the Trust or making a donation, to ensure events like this can continue in the churches for many years to come.
