‘Reflections On Romney Marsh Churches In Pictures & Verse’ is a collection of verses and photographs by Dr. John Woodward, an avid supporter of Romney Marsh Historic Churches Trust. The book features a verse written for each of the 14 marsh churches, inspired by the history, architecture and folklore of each location. Each verse is accompanied by a full-page photograph.

John Piper was an English painter, printmaker and designer. His work often focused on the British landscape, especially churches. He painted all of the Romney Marsh churches, including some interior scenes.
John Piper championed the setting up of the Romney Marsh Historic Churches Trust and generously donated the artwork for ten postcards when the Trust was founded
